All dished up, not a heck of a lot of cheese in Thanksgiving generally:
But I think a little cheesecake can fix that. It's a pretty simple recipe from Southern Living Magazine, and it comes out pretty as a picture:

Gorgeous. And trust me it tasted as good as it looked, with the flavors of the tart cheesecake matching up so beautifully with the toasty warm flavors of the nuts and brown sugar.
I'll definitely be making this again for holiday parties coming up soon, though I probably will add more pumpkin and a touch more sugar to the actual cheesecake, and maybe find a way to do a graham cracker crust that doesn't overpower so much with the cinnamon.
Also thank you SO MUCH to the amazing Crepes of Wrath for not only being one of my favorite recipe blogs, but also for randomly selecting me as the winner of her $50 Visa Gift Card giveaway. I never win anything so I'm definitely psyched, and I will definitely be featuring a special cheese purchase thanks to her!
